The 3rd grade Parent Teacher Coffee is on Monday, Oct 22 from
8:30-9:30 AM in the Parent Room. This is an opportunity to catch up
with other parents and spend some time socializing with the teachers. We hope you can make it!

Walk-a-thon: Friday, October 26
It
is time to create your online pledge forms for Walk-a-thon. We had 38
students lace up their walking shoes and create online pledge forms last
week, and three of them won gift cards through the raffle!
September 28 raffle winners:
1st place: Stella P, 5th grade
2nd place: Orla B, 6th grade
3rd place: Garen G, 1st grade
We
have two more raffles ahead of us on Friday, Oct 5 & Oct 12.
Remember, we will enter every child’s name who creates a profile during
that week into a randomly selected drawing. 3 winners will be chosen
each week: 1st place: $35 Target gift card; 2nd place: $20 Target gift
card; and 3rd place: $10 Target gift card. * Gift cards will be
distributed in November with other WAT prizes*
Wellness Workshop: Wednesday, Oct 24
We are kicking off the Walk-a-thon with a Wellness Workshop with a local star-Lara Field, MS, RDN!
All are welcome to attend on Wed. Oct 24 from 5:30-7:00pm in our Skinner North Auditorium. Please see attached video and flyer for more details.
Dine Out and Benefit Our School- October 10th!
Ditch cooking dinner and dine out for a great cause... Skinner North's first Dine Out & Give Back night will be held at Epic Burger (1000 N. Sheffield) from 10:30am - close. Epic Burger will donate 20% of sales back to Skinner North, so invite your friends, coworkers, and neighbors to join too. The more the merrier for this event! You must tell them you are with Skinner North at the register.
